[NEW STATES AREA] – Two dead following light aircraft crash.

Two men were killed on Sunday afternoon following a light aircraft crash in New States Area in Springs.

ER24, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the wrecked aircraft in a small field. The bodies of two men were found lying in the wreckage.

Medics assessed the men and found that they had already succumbed to their numerous injuries. Nothing could be done for them and they were declared dead by another service.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
