[NIGEL] – Man critical after shooting.

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was left critically injured this morning following a shooting incident on Northern Road in Nigel.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 04h04 to find the man lying on the pavement next to a light motor vehicle.
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained three gunshot wounds and was in a critical condition.
The man was treated for his injuries and was provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to a private hospital for urgent care.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
