[NORTH RIDING] Shooting incident leaves two injured

Two people, a man and a woman, were left injured following a shooting incident in North Riding last night.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 23h30, they found both patients lying outside on the driveway. Upon closer inspection, paramedics found that the man sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder as well as the arm and was in a serious condition. The woman had sustained minor injuries.

ER24 treated and stabilised both patients on the scene, before transporting them to hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but police were on the scene for further investigations.
