[OLIFANTSFONTEIN] – Three-vehicle collision leaves twelve injured.

Early this morning, twelve people were injured following a collision between a taxi, bakkie and light motor vehicle on the N1 near the Olifantsfontein turnoff.
ER24 and other services arrived on the scene at 00h12 to find the taxi on its roof in the emergency lane. The two other vehicles had stopped on the side of the road a short distance away. Several people were seen walking around.
Medics assessed the patients and found twelve people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated for injuries and later transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
