[OTTERY] – Two-vehicle collision leaves sixteen injured.

Sixteen people were left injured this morning when a light motor vehicle and light delivery vehicle collided at the Ottery and Strandfontein intersection in Ottery in the Western Cape.
At approximately 05h45, ER24, Metro, Western Cape Fire and several other services, arrived on the scene to find both vehicles in the middle of the intersection. Several people were found walking around on the scene.
Medics assessed the patients and found that sixteen had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were after that transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
