[POLOKWANE] Brick truck rolls leaving driver seriously injured

A man in his late 30s has been seriously injured when he lost control of the truck he was driving, rolling it down an embankment off the R37 near the Lebowakgomo offramp, South of Polokwane this afternoon.

ER24 paramedics, the Provincial Emergency Medical Services, as well as the local Fire Department were on the scene just before 4pm to find the driver heavily entrapped. He’d apparently managed to phone the emergency services himself from inside the crushed cab. All three services worked together to extract and treat him on scene before ER24 transported him to Polokwane Provincial Hospital for further care.

Both the Traffic Department and South African Police Services were on scene for further investigations.
