[POLOKWANE] Cyclist critically injured in collision

A male cyclist sustained critical injuries after he was knocked down by a vehicle at the Landdros Mare Street offramp in Polokwane last night.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 19h30, they found the man lying in the road. He was found to have sustained critical injuries and advanced life support interventions were immediately initiated.

The man was transported to Polokwane Provincial Hospital by ER24.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics.
