[POLOKWANE] – Pedestrian critically injured in a collision.

Yesterday morning, a man in his 20s was critically injured when he was struck by a light motor vehicle on West Street in Westernburg, Polokwane.
ER24 arrived on the scene at 07h26 to find the man lying on the side of the road. The vehicle that had struck the man was parked a short distance away.
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in critical condition. The man was treated and provided with advanced life support before he was transported to Polokwane Provincial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
