[POLOKWANE] – Three vehicle collision leaves one dead and several injured.

Last night, one man was killed and several others injured when two light motor vehicles collided on the R101 outside Polokwane.
ER24 arrived at 23h57 to find numerous other services already in attendance. On closer inspection, medics found two light motor vehicles upright on the side of the road while the taxi was on its side a short distance away.
On assessment, medics found the body of a man lying trapped inside one car. Unfortunately, the man had already succumbed to his injuries and was later declared dead.
Several other patients were tended to, their injuries ranging from minor to critical. The patients were treated and provided with advanced life support before being transported to nearby hospitals for urgent care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
