[POLOKWANE] – Two-vehicle collision leaves one dead and two injured.

Yesterday afternoon, a man was killed and two others injured when an SUV and a bakkie collided on the R101, approximately 30km outside Polokwane.
ER24 and other services arrived on the scene at 17h20 to find both wrecked vehicles on the side of the road. Debris from the two vehicles was spread across the road.
On closer inspection, medics found a man in his 40s lying near the one vehicle while a man and woman in their 60s were walking around.
Medics assessed the patients and found that the man in his 40s had already succumbed to numerous injuries. Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead. The man and woman in their 60s had sustained only minor injuries.
The patients were treated and later transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
