[POTCHEFSTROOM] – Farmer left seriously injured in shooting incident.

A man was left seriously injured last night following a shooting incident on his farm off the Rysmeirbult Road outside of Potchefstroom.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 19h00 to find numerous farmers from the community on the scene. Several men were found treating one farmer.
On assessment, medics found that one farmer had sustained several gunshot wounds to his legs, and was in a serious condition.
The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to a private hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
