[POTCHEFSTROOM] – Man seriously injured in motorbike collision.

This afternoon, a man was seriously injured following a motorbike collision at the Albert Luthuli and Wilgen intersection in Potchefstroom.
ER24 arrived on the scene at 13h20 to find a motorbike and light motor vehicle in the one lane of the road. The male biker was found lying on the pavement.
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition.
The man was treated and provided pain-relief medication before being transported to Mediclinic Potchefstroom for further care.
The car’s male driver was treated for his minor injuries and later transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
