[PRESTBURY] Multiple people injured in a two-taxi collision

A total of 18 patients were left injured following a collision between two taxis on Mayors Walk road in Prestbury, Pietermaritzburg this afternoon.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 17h00, they found that all of the patients were already outside of the taxis. Most of the patients were found seated on the road or walking around. Fifteen patients were found to have sustained minor injuries while three patients were found to have sustained moderate injuries. ER24, as well as various other medical services at the scene, treated the patients before transporting them to hospital for further medical care.
