[RANDFONTEIN] Biker critical following collision with bakkie

A man in his late 20s is in a critical condition following a collision between a motorbike and bakkie on the R559 in Randfontein last night.

ER24 paramedics were called to the scene at 19:17 where they found the biker lying on his back on the side of the road. Advanced Life Support interventions were used to stabilise the man before our ALS medic and the patient were transported through to Leratong Hospital by Metro EMS for further care.
