[RAWSONVILLE] Three injured in a two-vehicle collision

A man sustained critical injuries and two others sustained moderate injuries following a collision on Slanghoek crossing in Rawsonville this morning.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 07h30, they found a man still entrapped in the one vehicle. He was found to be in a critical condition. Paramedics and the fire department managed to free the man and advanced life support interventions were immediately initiated before transporting the man to hospital for further medical care.

Two others, a woman and a man, had sustained moderate injuries and they were treated at the scene before being transported to hospital by another medical service at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene.
