[RISIVILLE] – Two-vehicle collision leaves man seriously injured.

A man was left seriously injured yesterday afternoon when his light motor vehicle crashed into a truck on Blackwood Street in Risiville, Vereeniging.
ER24 paramedics and Midvaal Fire Services arrived on the scene at 15h45 to find the light motor vehicle on the side of the road. The truck had burst into flame after it crashed into a residence.
Medics assessed the patients and found that the male driver of the car was in a serious condition while the truck driver had escaped injury.
The patient was treated and provided pain-relief medication while the Midvaal Fire Services extinguished the burning truck.
After treatment, the patient was transported to Sebokeng Provincial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
