ROBERTVILLE – Truck and car collide leaving two seriously injured.

A man and a woman, believed to be in their 30s, were left seriously this afternoon when a truck crashed into the side of a light motor vehicle at the Main Reef and Granville intersection in Robertville.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene shortly after 13h15 to find the two vehicles in the middle of the road. A man and woman were found seated inside the light motor vehicle.

Medics assessed the patients and found that both the man and woman had sustained numerous injuries, leaving them in a serious condition.

The patients were treated for their injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
