[ROODEPOORT] Pedestrian killed on Old Main Reef Road

A pedestrian, believed to be in his 30’s, was killed when a truck collided with him along Old Main Reef Road near Princess Informal Settlement, Roodepoort, last night.

Shortly before 7pm on Friday night, paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene where they found the pedestrian lying in the middle of the road. Sadly, there was nothing that paramedics could do for him and he was declared dead on the scene.

Local authorities attended the scene and will conduct an investigation.
