[RUSTENBURG] – Fifteen injured in a three-vehicle collision.

Yesterday afternoon, fifteen people were injured when three vehicles collided and crashed into several pedestrians on Zendling Road in Rustenburg.
ER24 and several other services received the call and immediately responded to the scene, arriving at 17h10.
On scene, medics found that two vehicles that had allegedly been racing each other crashed into a third vehicle and veered off into a crowd of spectators.
On closer inspection, medics found numerous patients lying along the sidewalk.
Medics assessed the patients and found that fifteen people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to critical. Fortunately, no fatalities were found.
The patients were treated and provided with advanced life support before various services transported them to nearby hospitals.
