[RUSTENBURG] One killed, two injured in collision

One person has been killed and two others were injured following a head on collision on Bleskop mine road in Rustenburg this evening.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 18h30, they found two vehicles in the road. Upon further assessment, they found a man still inside the one vehicle who had sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene. Another man was found seated in the same vehicle and another was found seated in the second vehicle. Both of them sustained moderate injuries. ER24 treated both at the scene before transporting them to hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
