[SECUNDA] Two killed, two injured in collision

Two people were killed and two others sustained moderate injuries following a collision between two vehicles on the Secunda/Embalenhle road in Secunda early this morning.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene at approximately 02h30, they found two vehicles that had seemingly collided head-on. Two men were found entrapped in one of the vehicles and were showing no signs of life. Paramedics declared the men dead at the scene.

A male patient was found sitting in the other vehicle while a woman was sitting outside of it. Both were found to have sustained moderate injuries. ER24 treated them at the scene before transporting them to hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but police were on the scene for further investigations.
