[STRUBENS VALLEY] – Two-vehicle collision leaves four injured.

Four people were injured last night, including a two-year-old girl, when two light motor vehicles collided on Hendrik Potgieter Road in Strubens Valley, Roodepoort.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on the scene at 21h00 to find the two vehicles in the middle of the road. Members of the public had already pulled the patients from the vehicles.
On assessment, medics found that a two-year-old girl was in a critical condition, while her father was in a severe condition. Two men from the second vehicle had sustained only moderate injuries.
Medics immediately treated the patients and provided the young girl with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the girl was airlifted by a private medical helicopter to a nearby hospital while the remaining patients were transported by ambulances.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
