[SWARTKOP] – Car and bike collide leaving man critically injured.

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was left critically injured this afternoon following a collision between a light motor vehicle and a motorbike at the Lenchen and Foskoriet Road intersection in Swartkop, Centurion.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 12h44 to find a man, believed to be in his 30s, lying in the road next to his motorbike.

Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained serious injuries to his leg, leaving him in a critical condition.

The man was treated for his injuries and was provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to Kalafong Provincial Hospital for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
