[TABLE VIEW] – Taxi and car collide leaving eleven injured.

Eleven people were left injured this morning when a taxi and a light motor vehicle collided at the Blaauberg and Jannsens Avenue intersection in Table View, Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene at 07h42 and found the light motor vehicle in the middle of the road while the taxi had come to a stop against a palisade fence.
Medics assessed the patients and found that eleven people, including a pregnant woman and 9-year-old boy, had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no severe injuries were discovered.
The patients were treated and thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
