[THREE RIVERS] Gunshot victim critical

A man in his 30s is in a critical condition after allegedly being shot by another man in a car following an argument outside a liquor store on Assegai Street in Three Rivers, Vereenging this afternoon.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at around 15:30 to find the man lying supine on the ground outside the drive-through exit of the bottle store. He was found to have suffered two gunshot wounds in the chest and back. He was treated using Advanced Life Support interventions before being transported to Sebokeng Hospital for further care.

The cause of this incident is unknown to ER24.
