[TIBANE] – Man killed in head-on collision.

Last night, a man believed to be in his 40s was killed in a head-on collision on Matlala Road, approximately 15km from Tibane, Limpopo.
ER24 and the Provincial EMS arrived at 21h23 to find a small bakkie and SUV in the middle of the road. Both vehicles had sustained a large amount of damage in the collision.
Upon closer inspection, medics found a man in his 40s lying trapped inside the bakkie. Unfortunately, the man had already succumbed to his numerous injuries. Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.
The driver of the SUV, fortunately, escaped injury.
The details surrounding this incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
