[TOWN HILL] – Man seriously injured in a four-vehicle collision.

This evening, a man in his 40s was seriously injured when three trucks and a light motor vehicle collided on the N3 highway near the Peter Brown turnoff in Town Hill, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 and other services arrived at 20h10 to find the highway blocked off by the three trucks and car. One of the trucks and trailers was seen well alight.
On closer inspection, medics found a man lying approximately 60 metres away from one truck.
The man was assessed and found with several injuries, leaving him in a serious condition.
The man was treated and immediately transported to a nearby hospital for urgent care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
