[TRICHARDT] Six people injured in a two-vehicle collision

Six people, including a child and a toddler, sustained injuries ranging from minor to critical following a head-on collision on the N17 in Trichardt this morning.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 07H00, they found two wrecked light motor vehicles standing in the middle of the road. Upon further assessment, two people had sustained critical injuries while four others had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

ER24, and various medical services at the scene, treated the patients at the scene before transporting them to hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were in attendance.
