[TZANEEN] – Head-on leaves ten injured.

Yesterday afternoon, ten people were injured when a taxi and a light motor vehicle collided head-on on the R36 in Dan Village, Tzaneen.
ER24 and another service arrived at 16h48 to find both vehicles off the side of the road. Ten people were seated on the roadside.
Medics assessed the patients and found that nine adults and a six-week-old girl had sustained minor to moderate injuries. No serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated and later transported to Mediclinic Tzaneen and Letaba Provincial Hospital for further care.
The local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
