[VANDERBIJLPARK] Biker seriously injured in collision
A biker, believed to be in his 50s, sustained serious injuries following a collision with a vehicle on the R42 Barrage road in Vanderbijlpark this morning.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 10h00, they found the motorbike rider lying in the field next to the road. Upon further assessment, paramedics found that he sustained serious injuries. He was treated at the scene before being transported to Mediclinic Emfuleni for further medical care.
The two occupants of the vehicle sustained no injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics.
