[VANDERBIJLPARK] – Man critically injured in collision

Last night, a man believed to be in his 20s was critically injured when he was struck by a light motor vehicle on Barrage Road in Vanderbijlpark.
ER24 arrived on the scene shortly after 18h00 to find a nurse and off-duty medics treating a man found lying in the road.
On further assessment, medics found that the man had sustained several injuries and was in critical condition.
The man was treated and provided with advanced life support before he was transported to Sebokeng Provincial Hospital for urgent care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
