[VANDERBIJLPARK] Man seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover

A man sustained serious injuries following a single-vehicle rollover on the R42 in Vanderbijlpark this evening.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 18h00, they found the driver of the vehicle walking around at the scene. He was found to have sustained minor injuries. The passenger was found still entrapped in the vehicle but paramedics managed to extricate him. He was found to have sustained serious injuries. ER24 treated him at the scene before transporting him to Mediclinic Emfuleni for further medical care. The driver declined to be transported to hospital.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not known to our paramedics.
