[VISCHGAT] Lucky escape following helicopter crash.
Two people escaped seriously injury last night when their helicopter crashed in a field near Vischgat near Vereeniging.
ER24 received the reports of the incident and immediately responded, arriving at 18h10.
On scene, medics found the helicopter lying on its side a short distance away from a small farmhouse.
Two people that had been in the helicopter at the time of the incident had already been transported privately to hospital.
No other injuries were found on the scene.
The detail surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
