[VRYGROND] Two men suffer multiple gunshot wounds

Two adult males believed to be in their mid-thirties have suffered multiple gunshot wounds while in their vehicle on Doring Road, Vrygrond, Cape Town, this evening.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 17:50 to find Lima Charlie One’s medic in attendance. He had already extricated the two critically injured men from their vehicle and was administering Advanced Life Support interventions in order to try and stabilise them. They were found to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were urgently transported through to Groote Schuur and Victoria Hospitals for further care. One of the men has since died in hospital from his injuries.

Their light motor vehicle showed signs of multiple bullet holes. The South African Police Services were on scene for investigations.
