WATERCREST – Car crashes into pole leaving man seriously injured.

A man, believed to be in his 20s, was left seriously injured last night when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to crash into a light pole on Brackenhurst Road in Watercrest, KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the light motor vehicle on the side of the road. The driver had been pulled from the vehicle by members of the public and was now found seated in another vehicle.

Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained several injuries. The man was treated and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to a private hospital for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
