[WATERKLOOF] – One dead in shooting.

One man was killed following a shooting between four suspects and local authorities in a veld along the R50 in Waterkloof.
ER24 paramedics, along with other medical services, arrived on the scene at 10h54 to find local authorities already in attendance.
It is understood that four armed men had robbed a nearby shop. Local authorities chased the suspects to a nearby field where the shooting took place.
Medics assessed one suspect found in the field and found that he had sustained numerous gunshot wounds and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
