[WATERKLOOF RIDGE] Man seriously injured in industrial incident

A man in his 30s has suffered serious injuries after being crushed against a wall by a skip outside a mall in the Waterkloof Ridge area of Pretoria this afternoon.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 15:25 to find the man lying on the ground near where the incident took place and his co-workers standing by. He was assessed and found to have serious chest and head injuries and was only semi-conscious. The patient was treated using Advanced Life Support interventions and transported to a private hospital in the area for further care.
