[WELKOM] – Two bakkies collide, leaving two injured.

Yesterday afternoon, a man and a woman were injured when their two bakkies collided on the R710, approximately 30km outside Welkom.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 12h30 to find the two bakkies parked on the side of the road. A man and a woman were seen seated nearby on the side of the road.
Medics assessed the patients and found that both had sustained severe injuries. The patients were treated and provided with pain-relief medications before being transported to Welkom hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
