[WILGEHEUWEL] – Man killed in house fire.

A man was killed this morning when a fire broke out in his home on Echo Street in Wilgeheuwel.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 08h25 to find that the security on the scene had already extinguished the fire.
On closer inspection, medics found the body of a man lying in the kitchen area. Unfortunately, the man had already succumbed to his injuries. Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
