[WILGEHEUWEL] – Two taxi collision leaves fourteen injured.

Fourteen people were injured this morning when two taxis collided on Sovereign Road in Wilgeheuwel.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene, arriving at 08h00. On scene, medics found the two taxis in the middle of the road. Several people were found seated on either side of the road.
Medics assessed the patients and found that fourteen people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated and thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
The incident was reported to the local authorities.
