[WOLMERANSSTAD] – Truck overturns, leaving one dead and thirty-eight injured.

This morning, one person was killed and thirty-eight others injured when a truck and trailer overturned on the N12 outside of Wolmeransstad.
ER24 and several other services arrived on the scene at 07h30 to find the truck and trailer lying on its side in the middle of the road. Numerous patients that had been on the back of the truck and trailer were scattered along the road.
Medics assessed the patients and found that one person had sustained fatal injuries. Nothing could be done for them, and they were declared dead. Thirty-eight other people were found with injuries ranging from minor to critical injuries.
The patients were treated, and the critically injured were provided with advanced life support before they were transported to various hospitals for urgent care.
