[WORCESTER] – Truck rear-ends another leaving one dead and another injured.

This morning, one man was killed and another injured when a truck rear-ended another on the N1 near Roux Road in Worcester.
ER24 and other services arrived on the scene at 07h00 to find the trucks in the middle of the road.
On closer inspection, medics found two men lying in the cab of the rear truck.
Medics assessed the patients and found that the passenger had already succumbed to his numerous while the driver was in a serious condition.
Rescue Services had to use specialised equipment to free the men from the vehicle.
Once released, medics treated the seriously injured man and provided him with pain-relief medication before he was transported to Mediclinic Worcester for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
