[ZANDSPRUIT] – At least fifteen injured following two taxi collision.

At least fifteen people were left injured last night following a collision between two taxis on Beyers Naude in Zandspruit.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 20h15 to find the one taxi in the road while a second taxi was found on the side of the road. Several people were found scattered around the scene.

Medics assessed the patients and found that at least fifteen people had sustained minor to serious injuries.

The patients were treated for their injuries and the seriously injured provided with pain-relief medication before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet know but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
