[MARRIANHILL] – Two taxis collide leaving nine injured.

Nine people were injured this morning, including four children, when two taxis collided head-on on the Tshlimnyama Road in Tshelimnyama near Marrianhill, KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene to find both taxis on the side of the road. The passengers from both vehicles were found walking around on the scene.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that nine people, including four children, had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

The patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to various provincial hospitals for urgent treatment.

The cause of the collision will be investigated by local authorities.
