[MONDEOR] – Three vehicle collision leave 6 injured, including children.
Six people were left injured this morning, including five children, after two taxis and a light motor vehicle rear-ended each other on Columbine Road in Mondeor, south of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics were stocking their vehicles at their branch when they heard the loud crash just a few metres up the road.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found that two taxis and one light motor vehicle had collided. Several people were found walking around on the scene while others were seated in their vehicles.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that five children, aged between 3 and 5, and one woman, had all sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to South Rand and Lesedi Hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
